I had so much fun making the voice meme that's going around that I thought I give it another try with my Sew Weekly Reunion challenge. It also seemed a good way to condense a lot of info into one blog post. So please bear with all my "umm'ss" and other weird quirks and enjoy!

Wear again? No, after making the videos I wore it around the house and the fit on it is terrible. It is too short and it keeps riding up and making a poof on my upper chest. I think I was in too much of a hurry and needed to add some gathers or pleats in the neckline to make it fit better. I am going to slice it up for part of my infinity scarves.
Total Cost: Free, fabric and notions all came from stash and will return to it.

Wear again? OH YEAH!! These are super comfy and I had a hard time taking them off after the photo shoot so I could keep them clean for the trip!

The pants look super slouchy and fun to wear. Pity about your top, but these things happen in sewing :)

ReplyDeleteIt's such a shame that the top isn't working for you, because you've obviously put so much into it, and it's a really pretty fabric. I hope you can find some way to re-use it.
But, hey, those trousers are great, and I am really impressed (trousers seem like a big challenge to me). I love the buttons, and the gorgeous facing fabric.

DeleteI already have plans for the top fabric so I'm not too disappointed. If I want to use this pattern again I know what changes I need to make to make it more wearable next time.
As you heard pants are still a challenge for me too, but one that I me determined to overcome. I think the buttons and facings are the most fun to choose too!
Sorry to hear the top is a wadder, but the pants worked out and pants are difficult, so yay for that! :)
